Windows 7 Installation Instructions
Step 1
You need to install updates from Microsoft for your computer…Left-click on the Windows Start button, and then drag your mouse up to All Programs and leave it there until the pop-up window appears.
Look for Windows Update and double-click on it. Follow the instructions to install All updates including the optional update for FTDI drivers. Now re-boot your computer.
Note: You have to repeat this process until there are no new updates available.
Step 2
Insert the Asyra USB Flash drive (it is in the small silver case) into a USB port on your computer. A pop-up window should appear asking “What you would like to do?”
You want to open folder to view files; then double-click on the Gtech.setup logo and follow the on-screen prompts to install.
Step 3
Make sure that you have an active internet connection (open your web browser and then minimize it). Then connect the Asyra hardware to your computer using the USB cable.
On the Asyra hardware, press and hold the ON/OFF button until after the first beep…then release (if you hold the button till you hear the second beep, it will turn off).
At this time your computer will load all necessary drivers. (You need an open internet connection.)
Note: If you have the charger plugged into the Asyra hardware it will not power up.
Step 4
Congratulations…You have just successfully installed the Asyra Pro software interface.
Double-click on the Asyra Pro icon on your desktop. The password is “123asyra” if needed.
Step 5
Watch all 27 videos by Clicking on Help from the Pull-down. Every feature, function, and clinical application is covered.
Note: If you can’t view the video…you will need to update your Windows Media Player.
